Now at WRUJ with the Friday Fundango, Pete formerly hosted The Friday Morning Funway WRUV in Burlington, and has decades of experience announcing live sports, most recently as Finish Line Announcer for Women’s Alpine Events at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics. He’s a ski coach, runs a one-man tree-climbing service, and most recently, grandfather to Bryce, Cooper, and Ayla. We are lucky to have his prodigious energy, voice made for radio, and razor sharp wit on WRUJ.
Close Enough for Folk with Beth Esmond 3pm
Beth Esmond usually hosts “Close Enough for Folk” on Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays and will feature bluegrass to kick off the Vinylthon at 1 on Saturday and dive into classical on Sunday at 5 and 6 a.m.
